I have probably a half dozen items autographed by BK. My favorite is my Family Tree poster hanging in my home.

    Board Games

Last week, BK posted a video on Instagram of him buying Ticket to Ride at Target. Anyone else a board game fan? I used to really being into the Boadgamegeek.com world. Not so much anymore. But I still love a good game of Ticket to Ride.
  7. I just heard it on Spotify. What do you all think? I think it is solid. I especially love the drum fill at 2:37.

    Really digging these new tracks!

I am pretty sure it is from the Ghost Whisperer. BK talks about that clip in this interview: http://thedwarf.com.au/interview/ben-kweller-trucks-prostitutes-and-ghost-whisperer

@Christopher You should definitely get Ticket to Ride. It really is a great game. So much better than Monopoly and Sorry.

    Favorite Soundtracks

Agreed Retreat from the Sun is one of my favorites. I think it was the 11th CD I ever bought.

    Favorite Soundtracks

Have you listened to Letters to Cleo or That Dog? Those were pretty popular 90s female rock bands (at least in my circles). Kay Hanley (the singer for Letters to Cleo) is the voice for Josie on the soundtrack, and Anna Waronker (the singer for That Dog) wrote some of the songs on the soundtrack.

    Favorite Soundtracks

I have never been a big soundtrack guy. The only soundtrack that I own is the one for Josie and the Pussycats. That sounds super lame, but it is a pretty good disc. If you like female pop rock, you should check it out.

    Your First Love (Musically Speaking)

My first love was Weezer. The Blue Album came out when I was 12. A friend from school gave me a copy on cassette. And I listened to it non-stop. I would say the only reason why I bought a CD player was because I knew my mother was getting me Pinkerton for my 14th birthday. So yeah, The Blue Album and Pinkerton were my first two CDs. Restraining Bolt by Radish was third.

    BK 2018 Tour

@Ben I am in Dallas. I have seen you at Granada Theater twice. I thought that worked well. I could bring 3 people to a show/meetup. But you have a metric ton of fans in Dallas. So you don't need my help filling a venue.

    Radish on Spotify

@Ben I have heard many happy things this year. But that might be the happiest.

    Favorite BK Memories

My favorite BK memory was the first time I met him. It was back in 2003. I was a student at Lehigh University. I was friends with the on-campus events coordinator at the school, and I was also friends with the manager of the local radio station. I was able to convince the two of them to work together to bring Ben Kweller and Nada Surf to Lehigh. They played a tiny concert on campus for like 250 people. Before the concert, BK played a couple acoustic songs (Commerce, TX and The Biggest Flower) on our local radio station and did a radio interview. It was fantastic. BK and I played catch with a rubberband ball during the interview. I still have the ball. At the concert, I heard "Debbie Don't Worry Doll" for the first time. He also did a song about stepping in bubblegum, which I have never hear since.
