  1. That Bens EP was my high school jam! I still get that Bruised piano part stuck in my head all the time.
  2. Tickets go on sale tomorrow. Anyone else catching a West Coast date? I'll be at SF!

    Dallas show and new merch

So jelly you got a chance to go to the show. Can't wait to see all the dope new merch, and more importantly hear some sweet new tunes!
  4. SO SO SOLID. I love the fuzzed out riff in the chorus and ALL THOSE HARMONIES. The "come to your senses" hook is off the chain. Plus @philipI'm with you. That drumfill filled me with delight.

I woke up this morning thinking about more soundtracks I love! (500) Days of Summer as a movie hasn't held up amazingly in the last 10 years, but the soundtrack is still such a great mix "Us" (from Soviet Kitsch, 2004) Regina Spektor "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out" (from The Queen Is Dead, 1986) The Smiths "Bad Kids" (from Good Bad Not Evil, 2007) Black Lips "Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want" The Smiths "There Goes the Fear" (from The Last Broadcast, 2002) Doves "You Make My Dreams" (fromVoices, 1980) Hall & Oates "Sweet Disposition" (fromConditions, 2009) The Temper Trap "Quelqu'un m'a dit" (from Quelqu'un m'a dit, 2003) Carla Bruni "Mushaboom" (from Let It Die, 2004) Feist . "Hero" (from Begin to Hope, 2006) Regina Spektor . "Bookends" (from Bookends, 1968) Simon & Garfunkel "Vagabond" (from Wolfmother, 2005) Wolfmother "She's Got You High" (from These Things Move in Threes, 2007) Mumm-Ra
  12. Hey wonderful, weird forum folk-- I am constantly curious about how people stumble across people/places/things that end up becoming deeply impactful in their lives. So, tell me your story. Where were ya the first time you heard BK? What lead you down that musical path?

In terms of more orchestral scores, anything that Jon Brion has ever put his hands on is pure gold-- Eternal Sunshine, I Heart Huckabees, Punch Drunk Love... and most recently Lady Bird
